Is there a way to disable windows 10 update?

Windows Update takes so much data usage. I want to stop it. Please tell me how to disable it permanently.

1. Type on windows search box "services"
2. Search "windows update" then right click > properties.
3. Click "stop" at service status.
4. Finally at startup type, change from automatic to disabled.
5. Done
